What teams ask before putting Klaviyo behind an AI client.

Does connecting Klaviyo use OAuth, or do I paste a key?

You paste a key. The connect form asks for a single value, Private API key, which you copy from your Klaviyo account and enter as a password field. There is no ongoing re-authentication to sit through, and the connection reaches only the account that issued that key.

How much of the Klaviyo API can the agent reach?

308 operations across 23 API modules, split 188 read and 120 write. The largest are Catalogs, Profiles, Campaigns, Tags, Metrics and Flows, with Coupons, Lists, Templates, Segments, Forms, Events and Webhooks alongside them. The searchable grid above lists every one.

How many tools load into my AI client by default?

35. PopMCP keeps a working set in front of the model and leaves the remaining operations searchable, so the agent pulls in a specific tool by name when a request calls for it. If you would rather have the whole catalog exposed up front, turn on the full-catalog toggle for the connection.

Can the agent actually send a campaign, or only build one?

It can send. send_campaign sits in the catalog next to create_campaign and get_messages_for_campaign, so an agent on full access can go from draft to delivery. If you want a person in the loop first, switch on approval-required-for-writes so the send waits for your sign-off, or set the connection read-only and let the agent handle reporting only.

Does this cover product catalogs, or just email and SMS?

Both. Catalogs is the largest module in the integration, with 55 operations. Your agent can read items with get_catalog_items, load them in bulk with bulk_create_catalog_items, bulk_create_catalog_variants and bulk_create_catalog_categories, and organize them with add_items_to_catalog_category and add_categories_to_catalog_item.

Can it react when a customer places an order or joins a list?

Yes.
