talkwalker_export_ past_ dataCopy past results into a collector so they can be read in pages: makes an empty collector when none is named, then starts the export.
talkwalker_get_ export_ taskCheck one export task: status (queued, running, finished, failed, deleted, aborted, result_limit_reached), progress from 0 to 1, processed and ready counts.

Credentials off one Talkwalker screen, then an endpoint your client signs into. Nothing to deploy, and nothing to install.
Ask your Talkwalker customer success manager for an API access token, because Talkwalker issues them on request. Paste it into PopMCP, which checks it and lists the projects it reaches, so you choose which one this connection is for.
••••••••••••3f7aA connection starts read-only, which blocks changes to topics, documents, panels, streams and exports. Searching still works and still spends your Talkwalker credits. If the token reaches several projects, the connection is held to the one you chose, and asking for another is refused.
Drop the PopMCP URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or any other supported client. It signs in through PopMCP with OAuth, so your Talkwalker credential never leaves the server.
app.popmcp.com/mcpAsk for something harmless before the agent changes anything. Writes run as soon as it calls them, so confirm it reads the right account first.
What can this connection query, and how many credits do we have left?
talkwalker_project_overviewok
Then just ask for the work
“What can this connection query, and how many credits do we have left?”
“Give me a snapshot of our brand over the last 7 days: volume, sentiment, countries, themes and top authors”
“Show the most engaging negative mentions from this week”
“How many mentions did each topic get per day last month, broken down by sentiment?”
“Who are the most influential authors talking about us?”
“Summarize what people are saying about our new product launch”
“Export up to 2,000 mentions from March and show me the first ones”
“Add a topic for our competitor to this project”
“Set up a collector for this query, then read what it has gathered”
One hosted endpoint, registered once per client. The same tools and the same permissions, whichever window the request comes from.
Add the PopMCP URL under Customize → Connectors and the tools appear in every chat.
The same endpoint, registered in the browser. Nothing to install on the machine you are working from.
Register PopMCP as a custom connector, then let ChatGPT read and update the account.
Wire the endpoint into Codex or the Codex CLI when a task needs live business context, not a fixture.
Register the remote MCP server in OpenCode's config for terminal-first and scripted agent runs.
Add PopMCP as an MCP server in Z.ai's desktop app and work the account from the same window.
FAQ
What teams ask before putting Talkwalker behind an AI client.
A Talkwalker account with API access and an access token. Talkwalker's documentation says to request tokens from your customer success manager, so that is where to start if you have none. A read_only token is enough for searching, and a read_write token also lets the AI change topics, documents, streams and panels.
Yes, the same credits your API subscription already has. Talkwalker's documentation lists 1 credit per search result with at least 10 per call, 10 per histogram, 100 per AI summary, and 1 per new stream or exported result. Project lists, resources and document changes are free. The AI can check your balance, and exports stop at 1,000 results unless you ask for more.
Talkwalker's API does not export Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn posts, or raw Reddit and TikTok posts, and it shortens news articles. X posts carry only ids and sentiment unless your account has the X add-on. Histograms still give numbers for Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and TikTok, so the AI can report volume and trends for them.
No. If your token reaches several projects, you pick one for each connection and any request for another is refused. Connect another project to another workspace to use both. Streams, collectors and the global index belong to your API subscription rather than to a project, so they stay available on any connection.
Yes, within limits. A stream delivers only what arrives while connected, so the listen tools wait briefly and return what came in. To keep results for later, the AI can create a collector, which holds matching results for 7 days and spends one credit per new result. Pause it when you are done.
No. PopMCP hosts it and gives you a Streamable HTTP MCP URL. There is nothing to deploy, no callback URL to register, and no infrastructure to keep running or patch.
Any client that supports a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server: Claude Desktop, Claude Web, Claude Code, ChatGPT custom connectors, Codex and the Codex CLI, OpenCode and Z.ai's ZCode, as well as editors such as Cursor, Windsurf and Zed. Your client signs in to PopMCP with OAuth; the provider credential never leaves the server.
Connect Talkwalker in PopMCP first, then run claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://app.popmcp.com/mcp in a terminal. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp and sign in to PopMCP in the browser window it opens, ticking Talkwalker on the consent screen. The Talkwalker tools are then available in that session, and no Talkwalker credential is stored on your machine.
Loading 67 tool definitions into every conversation burns context before the work starts. PopMCP loads a curated 35-tool set covering the everyday workflows and keeps the rest searchable, so your AI pulls a specialist tool only when a task needs it. Every tool stays searchable, and on Scale the owner can load the full catalog for a teammate's connection.
A tool is something your AI calls, and there are 67 here. A trigger is something PopMCP watches for you: 3 Talkwalker events that can start work on the PopMCP side. Triggers never enter your AI client's context, and none of them ask you to paste a callback URL into Talkwalker.
Launch a hosted MCP endpoint for Talkwalker, keep tool access under control, and start testing real workflow prompts right away.
