replicate_create_ modelCreate an empty model on this account, usually as a training destination.
Ask for a picture or a video and get the link back. Your AI finds a suitable model, reads what it takes, runs it and waits for the result, without you choosing versions or filling in forms.
PopMCPReplicate
Every endpoint in Replicate's API, plus tools that list a model's inputs in plain form, check them before any credit is spent, and wait for the finished output, so your AI does not have to guess at each model's settings.
42 tools in the full catalog: 23 read and 19 write. 34 load by default, and the rest are found with tool search.
replicate_create_ modelCreate an empty model on this account, usually as a training destination.
replicate_get_ collectionList the models in one curated collection.
replicate_get_ modelGet one model: description, run_count, whether it is official, its latest version id, and the inputs it takes as a flat list.
replicate_get_ model_ input_ schemaSee what a model takes before running it, because every model has different inputs.
replicate_get_ model_ readmeRead a model's README as Markdown, for usage advice, limits and licence notes the input list does not explain.
replicate_list_ collectionsList Replicate's curated model collections, like super-resolution or image-to-text.
replicate_list_ model_ examplesList example runs the author saved for a model.
replicate_list_ model_ versionsList a model's versions, newest first, with id and date.
replicate_list_ modelsBrowse all public models, newest version first by default.
replicate_search_ modelsThe best first step for finding a model: search public models, collections and docs by what you want to do, like "remove image background".
replicate_search_ public_ modelsPlain text search over public models, page by page, when you want more results than replicate_search_models gives.
replicate_update_ modelChange a model's description, readme, or its github, paper, weights or license links.
replicate_cancel_ predictionStop a run that is still going.
replicate_create_ predictionStart a run by version.
replicate_get_ predictionCheck one run once: status (starting, processing, succeeded, failed, canceled, aborted), output, output_urls, error, timings and the last lines of its logs.
replicate_list_ predictionsList this account's runs, newest first, 100 per page, with status, model, times and output.
replicate_run_ deploymentRun a model through one of this account's deployments and get the result.
replicate_run_ modelRun any AI model and get the result: the normal way to generate an image, video, audio or text.
replicate_wait_ for_ predictionWait for a run that is still going, and get its result when it ends.
replicate_create_ deploymentCreate a deployment: a private endpoint for one model version.
replicate_get_ deploymentGet one deployment with its current release: model, version, hardware and instance counts.
replicate_list_ deploymentsList this account's deployments (private endpoints with chosen hardware and scaling), newest first, each with its current model, version, hardware and instance counts.
replicate_list_ hardwareList the hardware Replicate offers, as name and sku.
replicate_update_ deploymentChange a deployment's hardware, scaling or model version.
replicate_cancel_ trainingStop a training that is still going.
replicate_delete_ fileDelete an uploaded file.
replicate_download_ fileRead a file from a signed Replicate download link, for a link that holds owner, expiry and signature.
replicate_get_ fileGet one uploaded file: size, type, checksum, metadata, expiry and urls.get, the link to pass as a model input.
replicate_get_ trainingCheck one training: status, error, timings, the last lines of logs, and output.version and output.weights when done.
replicate_list_ filesList files uploaded to this account through the API, newest first, with id, size, type, expiry and the link to use as a model input.
replicate_list_ trainingsList this account's trainings, newest first, 100 per page, with status, model, times and the new version when done.
replicate_start_ trainingStart training a new version of a model on your own data, usually a fine-tune.
replicate_upload_ fileUpload a file to Replicate so a model can read it, when it has no public link or is too big for a data URL.
replicate_get_ accountGet the Replicate account this connection uses: type (user or organization), username, name.
replicate_delete_ modelDelete a model.
replicate_delete_ model_ versionDelete a model version and all its runs and output files.
replicate_get_ model_ versionGet one model version with its full OpenAPI schema.
replicate_create_ deployment_ predictionStart a run on one of this account's deployments.
replicate_create_ official_ model_ predictionStart a run of an official model, by owner and name with no version id.
replicate_delete_ deploymentDelete a deployment.
replicate_create_ trainingStart training from a specific model version.
replicate_get_ default_ webhook_ secretRead the signing secret that proves a webhook really came from Replicate.
Credentials off one Replicate screen, then an endpoint your client signs into. Nothing to deploy, and nothing to install.
Paste an API token from replicate.com/account/api-tokens. It starts with r8_. PopMCP checks it by reading your account name. A token belongs to one user or organization, so there is nothing else to choose.
••••••••••••3f7aRunning a model spends your Replicate credit, so runs, trainings, uploads, changes and deletes are writes and wait until an owner or admin allows write actions. New connections start read-only, which still lets your AI search models and read past runs. Tick Replicate on the PopMCP consent screen only for clients that need it.
Drop the PopMCP URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or any other supported client. It signs in through PopMCP with OAuth, so your Replicate credential never leaves the server.
app.popmcp.com/mcpAsk for something harmless before the agent changes anything. Writes run as soon as it calls them, so confirm it reads the right account first.
Find a good model for product photos on a white background and make one of a red ceramic mug
replicate_search_modelsok
Then just ask for the work
“Find a good model for product photos on a white background and make one of a red ceramic mug”
“Remove the background from this image and give me the link”
“Make a short video from this prompt and tell me when it is ready”
“Show my runs from this week, which ones failed, and why”
“Fine-tune an image model on these photos into a new private model”
“Scale my image deployment down to zero idle instances”
One hosted endpoint, registered once per client. The same tools and the same permissions, whichever window the request comes from.
Add the PopMCP URL under Customize → Connectors and the tools appear in every chat.
The same endpoint, registered in the browser. Nothing to install on the machine you are working from.
Register PopMCP as a custom connector, then let ChatGPT read and update the account.
Wire the endpoint into Codex or the Codex CLI when a task needs live business context, not a fixture.
Register the remote MCP server in OpenCode's config for terminal-first and scripted agent runs.
Add PopMCP as an MCP server in Z.ai's desktop app and work the account from the same window.
FAQ
What teams ask before putting Replicate behind an AI client.
A Replicate API token. Replicate makes one when you sign up, and you can add more at replicate.com/account/api-tokens. Paste it into PopMCP. There is no app to review and nothing to deploy.
Only if you let it. Replicate charges for runs, trainings and deployments from your prepaid credit. New PopMCP connections start read-only, so your AI can search models and read past runs but cannot start anything until an owner or admin allows write actions.
No. Say what you want and your AI can search for a model, read its inputs and run it. PopMCP finds the right version and checks the inputs first, so a wrong setting is refused before anything is spent. You can still name a model or pin a version.
Replicate removes the inputs, outputs, files and logs of an API run about an hour after it runs, so save anything you want to keep. Your AI gets the links as soon as the run ends and is told they expire.
A run keeps going on Replicate after the wait ends. Your AI gets the run's id and can pick it up with a wait tool, so a long video does not start twice. Replicate stops a run after 30 minutes, and you can set a shorter limit.
Yes. Use a token that belongs to the organization, and models, runs and billing are the organization's. To work in a second account, add a second connection with that account's token.
No. PopMCP hosts it and gives you a Streamable HTTP MCP URL. There is nothing to deploy, no callback URL to register, and no infrastructure to keep running or patch.
Any client that supports a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server: Claude Desktop, Claude Web, Claude Code, ChatGPT custom connectors, Codex and the Codex CLI, OpenCode and Z.ai's ZCode, as well as editors such as Cursor, Windsurf and Zed. Your client signs in to PopMCP with OAuth; the provider credential never leaves the server.
Connect Replicate in PopMCP first, then run claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://app.popmcp.com/mcp in a terminal. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp and sign in to PopMCP in the browser window it opens, ticking Replicate on the consent screen. The Replicate tools are then available in that session, and no Replicate credential is stored on your machine.
Loading 42 tool definitions into every conversation burns context before the work starts. PopMCP loads a curated 34-tool set covering the everyday workflows and keeps the rest searchable, so your AI pulls a specialist tool only when a task needs it. Every tool stays searchable, and on Scale the owner can load the full catalog for a teammate's connection.
A tool is something your AI calls, and there are 42 here. A trigger is something PopMCP watches for you: 5 Replicate events that can start work on the PopMCP side. Triggers never enter your AI client's context, and none of them ask you to paste a callback URL into Replicate.
Launch a hosted MCP endpoint for Replicate, keep tool access under control, and start testing real workflow prompts right away.
