See how your affiliate program is doing, clear the conversions waiting for approval, credit an order to the right affiliate, or give a partner a coupon code and a tracking link, all by asking.
PopMCPRefersion
Every endpoint of Refersion's current API is its own tool, along with the older calls that still have no replacement, such as creating an affiliate. A few tools do a whole job at once: one affiliate's full picture, a summary of the program, and approving a batch of conversions.
50 tools in the full catalog: 28 read and 22 write. 36 load by default, and the rest are found with tool search.

Authorize once, then an endpoint your client signs into. Nothing to deploy, and nothing to install on the Refersion side.
Open Refersion in PopMCP, click Authorize with Refersion, sign in to Refersion and approve. There is no developer app and no callback URL to set up. To also create affiliates, report orders or read past payments, add those values from Refersion's API Keys page under More options.
your-refersion-valuepub_...••••••••••••3f7aReading changes nothing in your account. Approving conversions, crediting commission and editing affiliates or offers wait until an owner or admin allows write actions in PopMCP, and new connections start read-only. The connection reaches one Refersion account and stays inside Refersion's own rate limits.
Drop the PopMCP URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or any other supported client. It signs in through PopMCP with OAuth, so your Refersion credential never leaves the server.
app.popmcp.com/mcpAsk for something harmless before the agent changes anything. Writes run as soon as it calls them, so confirm it reads the right account first.
How did my affiliate program do in the last 30 days, and how many conversions are waiting for approval?
refersion_count_affiliatesok
Then just ask for the work
“How did my affiliate program do in the last 30 days, and how many conversions are waiting for approval?”
“Show me everything about this affiliate: their sales, coupon codes, recent activity and tracking link”
“Approve the pending conversions from this week over $50, and list any you skipped”
“This order came through without an affiliate. Credit it to Jane and tell me what she earns”
“Give this affiliate the coupon code JANE10 and send me their tracking link”
One hosted endpoint, registered once per client. The same tools and the same permissions, whichever window the request comes from.
Add the PopMCP URL under Customize → Connectors and the tools appear in every chat.
The same endpoint, registered in the browser. Nothing to install on the machine you are working from.
Register PopMCP as a custom connector, then let ChatGPT read and update the account.
Wire the endpoint into Codex or the Codex CLI when a task needs live business context, not a fixture.
Register the remote MCP server in OpenCode's config for terminal-first and scripted agent runs.
Add PopMCP as an MCP server in Z.ai's desktop app and work the account from the same window.
FAQ
What teams ask before putting Refersion behind an AI client.
No. You open Refersion in PopMCP, click Authorize with Refersion, sign in and approve. Refersion's sign-in works with no app registration, so there is nothing to create first. If you prefer not to sign in, a Client ID and Client Secret from Settings, Integrations, Refersion API Keys work instead, under More options.
One that includes API access. Refersion's pricing page lists it on Growth and describes Scale as including everything; Launch does not list it. Webhooks also depend on your plan. If your plan does not include something, Refersion refuses the call and the AI tells you, rather than retrying.
They switch on the parts of Refersion that its current API does not cover yet. The Public and Secret keys let the AI create affiliates, set commission per SKU, cancel an order's commission, total conversions, fetch report links and report orders. The GraphQL token lets it read past payments and marketing assets. Everything else works without them.
Only if you allow it. New connections start read-only, so approving conversions, crediting commission and editing affiliates wait until an owner or admin allows write actions in PopMCP. Even then the tools ask the AI to confirm amounts and approvals with you first. Refersion's API does not send payouts through these tools.
Yes, as a promotion method, so orders using that code credit the affiliate. The code or customer email has to be unused across your account. SKU promotion methods need the Public and Secret keys, because Refersion's current API refuses them. Creating the discount itself in your store is a separate step on your store platform.
Yes. The AI can register a webhook endpoint for events such as a new, approved or denied conversion and a new payment, if your Refersion plan includes webhooks. Refersion signs each delivery; the signing secret is in Refersion under Settings, Webhooks.
No. PopMCP hosts it and gives you a Streamable HTTP MCP URL. There is nothing to deploy, no callback URL to register, and no infrastructure to keep running or patch.
Any client that supports a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server: Claude Desktop, Claude Web, Claude Code, ChatGPT custom connectors, Codex and the Codex CLI, OpenCode and Z.ai's ZCode, as well as editors such as Cursor, Windsurf and Zed. Your client signs in to PopMCP with OAuth; the provider credential never leaves the server.
Connect Refersion in PopMCP first, then run claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://app.popmcp.com/mcp in a terminal. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp and sign in to PopMCP in the browser window it opens, ticking Refersion on the consent screen. The Refersion tools are then available in that session, and no Refersion credential is stored on your machine.
Loading 50 tool definitions into every conversation burns context before the work starts. PopMCP loads a curated 36-tool set covering the everyday workflows and keeps the rest searchable, so your AI pulls a specialist tool only when a task needs it. Every tool stays searchable, and on Scale the owner can load the full catalog for a teammate's connection.
A tool is something your AI calls, and there are 50 here. A trigger is something PopMCP watches for you: 12 Refersion events that can start work on the PopMCP side. Triggers never enter your AI client's context, and none of them ask you to paste a callback URL into Refersion.
Launch a hosted MCP endpoint for Refersion, keep tool access under control, and start testing real workflow prompts right away.
