See how many patrons you have on each tier, find everyone whose last payment was declined, look a member up by name or email, read your posts, and have Patreon call your own tools when someone joins or leaves.
PopMCPPatreon
Every endpoint in Patreon's API, with a member search and member totals that Patreon itself does not offer, and answers that come back as plain records rather than bare ids.

Credentials off one Patreon screen, then an endpoint your client signs into. Nothing to deploy, and nothing to install.
On Patreon's Clients & API Keys page, create a client and copy its Creator's Access Token, Creator's Refresh Token, Client ID and Client Secret into PopMCP. With all four, PopMCP keeps the token renewed. The connection locks to your creator page.
••••••••••••3f7a••••••••••••3f7aYour client's Client IDPatreon's API can only write webhooks and livestreams, so the AI cannot post, change tiers or message patrons. update_live starts or ends a stream that patrons see at once. New connections start read-only, and only clients ticked on the PopMCP consent screen reach Patreon.
Drop the PopMCP URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or any other supported client. It signs in through PopMCP with OAuth, so your Patreon credential never leaves the server.
app.popmcp.com/mcpAsk for something harmless before the agent changes anything. Writes run as soon as it calls them, so confirm it reads the right account first.
How many active patrons do I have on each tier, and what does that add up to?

Then just ask for the work
“How many active patrons do I have on each tier, and what does that add up to?”
“Who has a declined payment right now? List their names, tiers and last charge dates”
“Look up ana@northwind.co and show her tier, what she has paid and her payment history”
“Give me an overview of my page: tiers cheapest first, what each includes, and my latest posts”
“Call https://example.com/hooks/patreon whenever someone starts or cancels a paid pledge”
One hosted endpoint, registered once per client. The same tools and the same permissions, whichever window the request comes from.
Add the PopMCP URL under Customize → Connectors and the tools appear in every chat.
The same endpoint, registered in the browser. Nothing to install on the machine you are working from.
Register PopMCP as a custom connector, then let ChatGPT read and update the account.
Wire the endpoint into Codex or the Codex CLI when a task needs live business context, not a fixture.
Register the remote MCP server in OpenCode's config for terminal-first and scripted agent runs.
Add PopMCP as an MCP server in Z.ai's desktop app and work the account from the same window.
FAQ
What teams ask before putting Patreon behind an AI client.
Open Patreon's Clients & API Keys page while signed in as the creator and click Create Client. Choose client API version 2. The page then shows four values. Copy them into PopMCP, which checks them and locks the connection to your creator page. Your AI client then reaches Patreon through your one PopMCP URL.
Patreon's access tokens expire, and renewing one takes the refresh token, Client ID and Client Secret. With all four, PopMCP renews the token for you. The access token alone also works, but the connection stops when it expires. Use a client just for PopMCP, because each renewal replaces the tokens shown on that page.
No. Patreon's API has no calls for those. Members, tiers, benefits and posts are read only through any client. The only things it can write are webhooks and livestreams, and new connections start read-only until an owner or admin allows write actions.
Yes, though Patreon's API cannot search or filter members itself. find_members reads through your members and matches on name, email, patron status, tier, last charge status or amount. If you have a very large page it hands back a cursor to carry on from. member_summary counts members by status and tier.
Member tools return the email address when the member shares it, and members can hide their name or email. A shipping address only comes back when the AI asks for it on a member. Patreon's own rules on what a creator can see still apply, and read-only access does not hide these.
Yes. create_webhook registers an address of yours for member, pledge and post events. Patreon signs each call using a secret that PopMCP shows once when the webhook is created. Only webhooks made by this connection's client can be listed or changed, and writing them needs write actions allowed.
The tools are there: create_live, get_live and update_live schedule, start and end a stream and give you its RTMP address and stream key. Patreon keeps its Live API in early access and opens it per partner, so it may refuse until Patreon has let your account in.
No. PopMCP hosts it and gives you a Streamable HTTP MCP URL. There is nothing to deploy, no callback URL to register, and no infrastructure to keep running or patch.
Any client that supports a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server: Claude Desktop, Claude Web, Claude Code, ChatGPT custom connectors, Codex and the Codex CLI, OpenCode and Z.ai's ZCode, as well as editors such as Cursor, Windsurf and Zed. Your client signs in to PopMCP with OAuth; the provider credential never leaves the server.
Connect Patreon in PopMCP first, then run claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://app.popmcp.com/mcp in a terminal. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp and sign in to PopMCP in the browser window it opens, ticking Patreon on the consent screen. The Patreon tools are then available in that session, and no Patreon credential is stored on your machine.
Loading 23 tool definitions into every conversation burns context before the work starts. PopMCP loads a curated 17-tool set covering the everyday workflows and keeps the rest searchable, so your AI pulls a specialist tool only when a task needs it. Every tool stays searchable, and on Scale the owner can load the full catalog for a teammate's connection.
A tool is something your AI calls, and there are 23 here. A trigger is something PopMCP watches for you: 9 Patreon events that can start work on the PopMCP side. Triggers never enter your AI client's context, and none of them ask you to paste a callback URL into Patreon.
Launch a hosted MCP endpoint for Patreon, keep tool access under control, and start testing real workflow prompts right away.
