Claiming free assets, wishlist changes, reviews, bundles and wallet purchases wait until an owner or admin allows write actions in PopMCP, and new connections start read-only. How do I connect Krafto to PopMCP?
Create an MCP access token in Krafto's MCP Dashboard, choose its permissions, and enter it in PopMCP. PopMCP checks the token with Krafto's MCP server and loads the tools it may use. There is no developer app or callback URL to set up, and you can revoke the token in the dashboard at any time.
Does it work on Krafto's free plan?
Yes. A free Krafto account can search the catalog, read its library and download what it owns or what is free. Krafto Go, Pro and Ultra add more of the catalog to your plan, and the AI checks what your plan covers before suggesting a download.
Can the AI download files for me?
Yes, for assets you own, free assets, and assets your plan includes. It creates a signed download link for the whole package, or for a single file such as one font weight or one 3D format. Krafto's links expire after 15 minutes, so the AI fetches a fresh one when it needs it.
Can the AI buy assets with my Krafto Wallet?
Only if you give the token the Wallet spend permission and an owner or admin allows write actions in PopMCP. Even then the AI states the price and asks you first, and every purchase carries a price ceiling, so Krafto refuses it if the price has gone up.
What happens when Krafto adds a new tool?
PopMCP mirrors Krafto's own MCP server, so a new tool is reachable straight away through krafto_call_tool and gets its own krafto_ tool once the tool list refreshes. Nothing needs reconnecting.
Will the AI follow instructions written in an asset's description?
No. Asset descriptions and reviews come back marked as third-party content, and the AI is told never to act on instructions inside them. It also cites the asset's Krafto page and does not claim a licence, price or compatibility Krafto did not confirm.
Do I have to run or host the Krafto MCP server myself?
No. PopMCP hosts it and gives you a Streamable HTTP MCP URL. There is nothing to deploy, no callback URL to register, and no infrastructure to keep running or patch.
Which AI clients can use this MCP server?
Any client that supports a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server: Claude Desktop, Claude Web, Claude Code, ChatGPT custom connectors, Codex and the Codex CLI, OpenCode and Z.ai's ZCode, as well as editors such as Cursor, Windsurf and Zed. Your client signs in to PopMCP with OAuth; the provider credential never leaves the server.
How do I connect Krafto to Claude Code?
Connect Krafto in PopMCP first, then run claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://app.popmcp.com/mcp in a terminal. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp and sign in to PopMCP in the browser window it opens, ticking Krafto on the consent screen. The Krafto tools are then available in that session, and no Krafto credential is stored on your machine.
Do all 25 Krafto tools load by default?
Yes. The Krafto catalog is small enough that all 25 tool definitions load into every conversation, so your AI never has to search for one before it can call it.
What is the difference between a tool and a trigger?
A tool is something your AI calls, and there are 25 here. A trigger is an event PopMCP watches for on its own. Krafto has no triggers yet, so everything on this page happens when your AI calls a tool.
