kogan_cancel_ orderCancel items on an open order that has not been sent: the customer is refunded and told the reason, and this cannot be undone.
See what is waiting to be sent, mark orders as dispatched, change stock and prices, list new products and read back what Kogan made of them, all by asking.
PopMCPKogan
Every operation in Kogan's Marketplace API is here, and all of them load by default: products, stock and price updates, orders, dispatch, cancellations, refunds, brands and categories. Product changes run in the background at Kogan, so the AI waits for the result and tells you what was rejected. A few tools do a whole job at once, such as changing a price while keeping the rest of the offer as it is.
20 tools in the full catalog: 10 read and 10 write. 20 load by default, and the rest are found with tool search.

kogan_account_ overviewStart here: which Kogan system this connection is on (live or test), how many orders are waiting to be sent with the first few, and some of your products.
Credentials off one Kogan screen, then an endpoint your client signs into. Nothing to deploy, and nothing to install.
Kogan issues API details through your marketplace account manager, not a settings page, so ask yours for your Seller ID and Seller Token. Open Kogan in PopMCP, paste both and connect. PopMCP works out whether they are for the live store or Kogan's test system, so there is nothing else to fill in.
your-kogan-value••••••••••••3f7aListing changes, dispatch updates, cancellations and refunds take effect the moment the AI calls them, and on live details they reach real customers and return real money, so ask it to confirm first. New connections start read-only until an owner or admin allows writes in PopMCP, because Kogan's credentials have no read-only setting of their own. Taking a listing down at once only works after Kogan's marketplace team gives you permission.
Drop the PopMCP URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or any other supported client. It signs in through PopMCP with OAuth, so your Kogan credential never leaves the server.
app.popmcp.com/mcpAsk for something harmless before the agent changes anything. Writes run as soon as it calls them, so confirm it reads the right account first.

Then just ask for the work
“Which Kogan orders are waiting to be sent, and which is the oldest?”
“Mark order AULZ as sent with this carrier code and tracking number”
“Set stock to 40 on SKU MUG-BLUE and tell me if Kogan rejected it”
“List this new product on Kogan and tell me about any errors or warnings”
“Which of my products are out of stock?”
“Cancel this order because the item is not available”
“Refund the faulty item on this shipped order”
One hosted endpoint, registered once per client. The same tools and the same permissions, whichever window the request comes from.
Add the PopMCP URL under Customize → Connectors and the tools appear in every chat.
The same endpoint, registered in the browser. Nothing to install on the machine you are working from.
Register PopMCP as a custom connector, then let ChatGPT read and update the account.
Wire the endpoint into Codex or the Codex CLI when a task needs live business context, not a fixture.
Register the remote MCP server in OpenCode's config for terminal-first and scripted agent runs.
Add PopMCP as an MCP server in Z.ai's desktop app and work the account from the same window.
FAQ
What teams ask before putting Kogan behind an AI client.
From your Kogan marketplace account manager. Kogan's API guide says they set these up and send them to you, so there is no page to make them yourself. The Seller ID is your account name.
Yes. Kogan's guide starts with its Marketplace application form, and API details come once you have been approved. This connects your own seller account: it is not for shopping on Kogan.com.
The credentials decide. Kogan gives separate details for its test system and its live store, and PopMCP tries them on each. The connection profile always says which one the AI is using. Products on the test system are not copied to live.
Kogan handles them in the background and only reports errors at the end. The AI gets a task to check, and tells you which products were rejected and why, including warnings about facets that keep a product out of filters.
Yes. Kogan's update needs the whole offer, so the price tool reads the current handling days, shipping and list price first and sends them back unchanged.
Setting stock to zero shows a product as sold out, and Kogan removes the listing after seven days. Removing it at once needs permission from Kogan: ask marketplace-support@kogan.com.au.
Kogan lists open orders with no date limit, and shipped or cancelled orders in stretches of up to fifteen days. Looking up a single order by id only finds open ones, so the AI searches the last fifteen days for the others.
No. Kogan takes only the full quantity of a line, so the AI asks for whole lines. Cancel before an order is sent, and refund after.
No. PopMCP hosts it and gives you a Streamable HTTP MCP URL. There is nothing to deploy, no callback URL to register, and no infrastructure to keep running or patch.
Any client that supports a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server: Claude Desktop, Claude Web, Claude Code, ChatGPT custom connectors, Codex and the Codex CLI, OpenCode and Z.ai's ZCode, as well as editors such as Cursor, Windsurf and Zed. Your client signs in to PopMCP with OAuth; the provider credential never leaves the server.
Connect Kogan in PopMCP first, then run claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://app.popmcp.com/mcp in a terminal. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp and sign in to PopMCP in the browser window it opens, ticking Kogan on the consent screen. The Kogan tools are then available in that session, and no Kogan credential is stored on your machine.
Yes. The Kogan catalog is small enough that all 20 tool definitions load into every conversation, so your AI never has to search for one before it can call it.
A tool is something your AI calls, and there are 20 here. A trigger is something PopMCP watches for you: 4 Kogan events that can start work on the PopMCP side. Triggers never enter your AI client's context, and none of them ask you to paste a callback URL into Kogan.
Launch a hosted MCP endpoint for Kogan, keep tool access under control, and start testing real workflow prompts right away.
