Credentials off one Faire screen, then an endpoint your client signs into. Nothing to deploy, and nothing to install.
In your Faire brand portal open Settings, then Integrations, generate an API key and paste it into PopMCP. If the portal does not offer one, Faire's integrations team issues it by email. PopMCP checks which brand it belongs to and locks the connection to it.
••••••••••••3f7aAccepting, shipping and canceling orders, and changing stock, prices and products are writes and wait until an owner or admin allows write actions; new connections start read-only. Order actions reach a real retailer, so keep teammates who only report on read-only.
Drop the PopMCP URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or any other supported client. It signs in through PopMCP with OAuth, so your Faire credential never leaves the server.
app.popmcp.com/mcpAsk for something harmless before the agent changes anything. Writes run as soon as it calls them, so confirm it reads the right account first.

Then just ask for the work
“Which Faire orders do I still need to accept or ship? Soonest ship date first”
“Pull everything I need to fulfil order BXDMJBWXID, and tell me if any item is short or needs a packing slip”
“Add UPS tracking 1Z999AA10123456784 to that order”
“Set available stock to 40 for SKU CANDLE-VAN and 12 for SKU CANDLE-FIG”
“Which of my variants have five or fewer units left?”
“Raise the US wholesale price of SKU CANDLE-VAN to 9.50 dollars”

One hosted endpoint, registered once per client. The same tools and the same permissions, whichever window the request comes from.
Add the PopMCP URL under Customize → Connectors and the tools appear in every chat.
The same endpoint, registered in the browser. Nothing to install on the machine you are working from.
Register PopMCP as a custom connector, then let ChatGPT read and update the account.
Wire the endpoint into Codex or the Codex CLI when a task needs live business context, not a fixture.
Register the remote MCP server in OpenCode's config for terminal-first and scripted agent runs.
Add PopMCP as an MCP server in Z.ai's desktop app and work the account from the same window.
FAQ
What teams ask before putting Faire behind an AI client.
Your brand's access token. In your Faire brand portal open Settings, then Integrations, and generate an API key. If you do not see that option, email integrations.support@faire.com from the email address on your Faire account and ask for your API access token. Paste it into PopMCP, which checks which brand it belongs to, stores it encrypted and locks the connection to that brand. The token never reaches your AI client.
No. Faire says it has no retailer API, so the connection needs a brand account. It works for the orders, products and stock of the brand you connect, and it can read the public profile of a retailer who has ordered from you.
Faire keeps on hand, committed and available apart, and available is on hand minus what open orders hold. PopMCP has separate tools for each number and says when to use which, so a figure that already excludes open orders is not subtracted twice. A quantity sent to the wrong tool is refused rather than dropped. One unknown SKU fails a whole batch by default, so the tools can apply the rest and report which SKUs were not applied.
Faire counts money in minor units with a currency, so 450 in USD is 4.50, and prices are set per market: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia or the EU. Every answer shows a readable amount next to the raw one, and PopMCP refuses a price with no currency rather than guess at it.
Only if you let it. Every connection starts read-only, which keeps every read and blocks every change. An owner or admin can allow write actions later. Accepting, shipping and canceling all reach a real retailer, the tool descriptions say so, and a cancel needs a note of at least 30 characters because the retailer reads it.
Faire has no webhooks, so PopMCP watches your order, product and review lists. A workflow can start when a retailer places an order, when an order changes, when a product is added or changed, or when a new review arrives. Nothing needs to be set up in Faire.
No. PopMCP hosts it and gives you a Streamable HTTP MCP URL. There is nothing to deploy, no callback URL to register, and no infrastructure to keep running or patch.
Any client that supports a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server: Claude Desktop, Claude Web, Claude Code, ChatGPT custom connectors, Codex and the Codex CLI, OpenCode and Z.ai's ZCode, as well as editors such as Cursor, Windsurf and Zed. Your client signs in to PopMCP with OAuth; the provider credential never leaves the server.
Connect Faire in PopMCP first, then run claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://app.popmcp.com/mcp in a terminal. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp and sign in to PopMCP in the browser window it opens, ticking Faire on the consent screen. The Faire tools are then available in that session, and no Faire credential is stored on your machine.
Loading 45 tool definitions into every conversation burns context before the work starts. PopMCP loads a curated 37-tool set covering the everyday workflows and keeps the rest searchable, so your AI pulls a specialist tool only when a task needs it. Every tool stays searchable, and on Scale the owner can load the full catalog for a teammate's connection.
A tool is something your AI calls, and there are 45 here. A trigger is something PopMCP watches for you: 4 Faire events that can start work on the PopMCP side. Triggers never enter your AI client's context, and none of them ask you to paste a callback URL into Faire.
Launch a hosted MCP endpoint for Faire, keep tool access under control, and start testing real workflow prompts right away.
