Arcmira MCP server for your AI

Find what podcast hosts said about a topic with a link to the exact second, list every show a founder appeared on, see who sponsors a show, or pull the lines around a quote before you cut the clip.

PopMCPArcmira

Find quotes about GPU financing from podcasts in the last two months, with the timestamped link and the lines around each one

Supported Arcmira tools

Every endpoint of Arcmira's API is its own tool, plus one that finds clips: each passage with its timestamped link, date, speakers and the transcript around it. Names are looked up first, so filters always get the IDs Arcmira expects.

34 tools in the full catalog: 25 read and 9 write. 32 load by default, and the rest are found with tool search.

Connect Arcmira to Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code

Authorize once, then an endpoint your client signs into. Nothing to deploy, and nothing to install on the Arcmira side.

Open Arcmira in PopMCP, click Authorize with Arcmira, sign in to Arcmira and click Allow. There is no developer app and no callback URL to set up, and a free Arcmira account works. If you would rather use an Arcmira account key, it goes under More options.

Use Arcmira from the assistant you already open

One hosted endpoint, registered once per client. The same tools and the same permissions, whichever window the request comes from.

Claude DesktopCustom connector

Add the PopMCP URL under Customize → Connectors and the tools appear in every chat.

Claude WebCustom connector

The same endpoint, registered in the browser. Nothing to install on the machine you are working from.

ChatGPTCustom connector

Register PopMCP as a custom connector, then let ChatGPT read and update the account.

CodexDesktop & CLI

Wire the endpoint into Codex or the Codex CLI when a task needs live business context, not a fixture.

OpenCodeCoding agent

Register the remote MCP server in OpenCode's config for terminal-first and scripted agent runs.

ZCodeDesktop app

Add PopMCP as an MCP server in Z.ai's desktop app and work the account from the same window.

Arcmira MCP server questions

What teams ask before putting Arcmira behind an AI client.

Do I need an Arcmira API key or developer app?

No. PopMCP is a registered OAuth client of Arcmira, so you open Arcmira in PopMCP, click Authorize with Arcmira, sign in and click Allow. The sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and needs no developer app or callback URL. If you prefer a key, an arc_sk_ key from Dashboard, API keys in Arcmira works instead under More options, and it never expires.

Does the Arcmira MCP server work on the free plan?

Yes. Arcmira's Free plan includes 1,000 credits a month and leaves out media from the newest 30 days. Premium transcripts, sponsor rows, the before filter and the newest media follow your Arcmira plan; when a read needs more, Arcmira names the plan that lifts the limit and the AI passes that on instead of retrying.

How do credits work when the AI searches?

Each read uses credits from your Arcmira plan, then your on-demand budget. Looking up names, checking a show's coverage and reading your account are free; passages, mentions and videos use 4 credits each past the first 5 of a request; sponsor rows use 40; caption reads use 4 per started 15 minutes. Every tool says what it costs, and arcmira_find_clips reports the credits it used.

Can the AI find a clip and the context around it?

Yes. arcmira_find_clips searches transcripts for a topic and returns each passage with its Arcmira and YouTube links at the exact second, the date, channel, speakers when known, a ready citation and the transcript lines before and after it, so you can judge the moment before cutting it. It searches the last 90 days unless you name a window.

Can the AI start a Premium transcript or change my monitors?

Only when you ask. A Premium transcript costs 300 credits per started 15 minutes of video, so the AI checks the price with arcmira_quote_premium_transcript first. Creating, changing or deleting monitors and trackers waits until an owner or admin allows write actions in PopMCP, and new connections start read-only.

Why does a filter need an ID instead of a name?

Arcmira's filters take IDs so a name shared by several people or companies cannot match the wrong one. The AI calls arcmira_resolve_entity first, which is free, and uses the ID it returns; for a show it looks up the YouTube channel. Plain keyword search needs no lookup.

Do I have to run or host the Arcmira MCP server myself?

No. PopMCP hosts it and gives you a Streamable HTTP MCP URL. There is nothing to deploy, no callback URL to register, and no infrastructure to keep running or patch.

Which AI clients can use this MCP server?

Any client that supports a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server: Claude Desktop, Claude Web, Claude Code, ChatGPT custom connectors, Codex and the Codex CLI, OpenCode and Z.ai's ZCode, as well as editors such as Cursor, Windsurf and Zed. Your client signs in to PopMCP with OAuth; the provider credential never leaves the server.

How do I connect Arcmira to Claude Code?

Connect Arcmira in PopMCP first, then run claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://app.popmcp.com/mcp in a terminal. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp and sign in to PopMCP in the browser window it opens, ticking Arcmira on the consent screen. The Arcmira tools are then available in that session, and no Arcmira credential is stored on your machine.

Why do only 32 of the 34 tools load by default?

Loading 34 tool definitions into every conversation burns context before the work starts. PopMCP loads a curated 32-tool set covering the everyday workflows and keeps the rest searchable, so your AI pulls a specialist tool only when a task needs it. Every tool stays searchable, and on Scale the owner can load the full catalog for a teammate's connection.

What is the difference between a tool and a trigger?

A tool is something your AI calls, and there are 34 here. A trigger is an event PopMCP watches for on its own. Arcmira has no triggers yet, so everything on this page happens when your AI calls a tool.
