Agorapulse MCP server for your AI

Ask what needs a reply, answer a comment, see how a profile did last month, hear what people are saying about you and save the next post as a draft, all by asking.

PopMCPAgorapulse

What is waiting for a reply in my inbox, and which of it looks like a complaint?

Supported Agorapulse tools

Sign in with Agorapulse and your AI can read your inbox, listening searches and reports, answer comments and messages, and save posts as drafts, one workspace per connection. New connections start read-only. With an API key on the Custom plan, it can also upload files, set options for each network on a draft, and read competitor reports and metric sets. Agorapulse's tools save drafts and cannot publish or schedule: someone does that in Agorapulse.

Connect Agorapulse to Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code

Authorize once, then an endpoint your client signs into. Nothing to deploy, and nothing to install on the Agorapulse side.

Open Agorapulse in PopMCP, click Sign in with Agorapulse, sign in, allow access and choose your workspace. There is no developer app and no callback URL to set up. Agorapulse offers this sign-in on every plan except Legacy. For file uploads, network options on drafts and metric sets, use an API key under More options instead: you make one in Agorapulse under Personal settings, API Keys, on the Custom plan.

Agorapulse MCP server questions

What teams ask before putting Agorapulse behind an AI client.

Do I need an Agorapulse API key or developer app?

No. You click Sign in with Agorapulse, sign in, allow access and choose your workspace. A key is only for file uploads, network options on drafts, competitor reports and metric sets. You make one in Agorapulse under Personal settings, API Keys.

Which Agorapulse plan do I need?

Agorapulse says this sign-in is open to all its users except those on the Legacy plan, and that it is in beta. It says API keys come with the Custom plan.

What is the difference between signing in and using an API key?

Signing in covers the inbox, listening, analytics, drafts and calendar notes, with nothing to copy. A key also reaches file uploads, options for each network on a draft, Pinterest boards, competitor reports and metric sets. A connection uses one or the other, and you can add a second connection to have both.

Can my AI publish or schedule posts?

No. Agorapulse's tools save drafts and cannot publish or schedule, so someone reviews and schedules each post in Agorapulse. Replies are different: a reply goes out for real unless an approval workflow holds it.

What can my AI see?

Only what your own Agorapulse user can see, in the one workspace you chose. An API key has the access of the person who made it, so Agorapulse suggests the key of an organization owner or manager when you want every profile.

Do I have to run or host the Agorapulse MCP server myself?

No. PopMCP hosts it and gives you a Streamable HTTP MCP URL. There is nothing to deploy, no callback URL to register, and no infrastructure to keep running or patch.

Which AI clients can use this MCP server?

Any client that supports a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server: Claude Desktop, Claude Web, Claude Code, ChatGPT custom connectors, Codex and the Codex CLI, OpenCode and Z.ai's ZCode, as well as editors such as Cursor, Windsurf and Zed. Your client signs in to PopMCP with OAuth; the provider credential never leaves the server.

How do I connect Agorapulse to Claude Code?

Connect Agorapulse in PopMCP first, then run claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://app.popmcp.com/mcp in a terminal. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp and sign in to PopMCP in the browser window it opens, ticking Agorapulse on the consent screen. The Agorapulse tools are then available in that session, and no Agorapulse credential is stored on your machine.

Why do only 35 of the 36 tools load by default?

Loading 36 tool definitions into every conversation burns context before the work starts. PopMCP loads a curated 35-tool set covering the everyday workflows and keeps the rest searchable, so your AI pulls a specialist tool only when a task needs it. Every tool stays searchable, and on Scale the owner can load the full catalog for a teammate's connection.

What is the difference between a tool and a trigger?

A tool is something your AI calls, and there are 36 here. A trigger is something PopMCP watches for you: 4 Agorapulse events that can start work on the PopMCP side. Triggers never enter your AI client's context, and none of them ask you to paste a callback URL into Agorapulse.
